DOUBLE TROUBLE DONNY!

HEAT 2A & MAIN EVENT RECAP – TRICITY RACING SERIES SEASON OPENER
Location: Quesnel Goldpan Speedway
Race Format: 12-Lap Heat (Third of the Night) & 50-Lap Main Event
The 2025 Tri-City Racing Series season opener at Quesnel Goldpan Speedway may have started with weather delays, but by the end of Sunday’s action, one name stood above the rest — #27 Donny Kunka.
Kunka came into the weekend prepared and delivered a dominant performance, sweeping both Heat 2A and the 50-Lap Main Event. His pace was evident early on, posting the second fastest qualifying time of the night at 15.616 seconds.
In Heat 2A, the third heat of the night, Kunka controlled the race from the drop of the green, showcasing precision and patience to secure the win in the 12-lap run.
He followed that up with a commanding run in the 50-Lap Main, navigating lap traffic and holding off late-race challenges to seal the deal and take the first feature win of the season.
It was a statement drive from Kunka, marking him as an early favorite in the 2025 championship hunt. Full results and updated points standings can be found at: www.tricityracingseries.ca/standings
